Gonzalo López Alfaro is a professor of Sociology and Philosophy at U. De Chile. His works focus on social theory and epistemology of the sciences. He was born in January of 2000 in Santiago of Chile, city on he grows up. He studied at U. De Chile the degrees in Sociology and Philosophy at the same time. Then he moved to France to study his postgraduates in the École des hautes études en sciences sociales. at that University, he obtained two master's degrees, the first in philosophy and the second in economics and social sciences and he graduated with honors. After completing his masters, he began a PHD in sociology at the same university. Gonzalo López is recognized as one of the outstanding students of the École des hautes études in social sciences.
