Gonzalo López Alfaro is a professor of Sociology and Philosophy at U. De Chile. His works focus on social theory and epistemology of the sciences. He was born in January of 2000 in Santiago of Chile, city on he grows up.
He studied at U. De Chile the degrees in Sociology and Philosophy at the same time. Then he moved to France to study his postgraduates in the École des hautes études en sciences sociales. at that University, he obtained two master's degrees, the first in philosophy and the second in economics and social sciences and he graduated with honors.

After completing his masters, he began a PHD in sociology at the same university. Gonzalo López is recognized as one of the outstanding students of the École des hautes études in social sciences.
Gonzalo after finishing his PHD, he participated in educational reforms for the French State with a group of academics from different disciplines. Also, he was part of the Center for Social Research on Globalization (CSRG) and traveled to China as an expert to assist in the democratic reforms of the Chinese Communist Republic.
In 2038 he returned to Chile to join the department of the academics of the U. De Chile and founded the "Centro de investigacion interdisiplinario de Chile" (CIICh), which objective is to improve the conditions of the country in all its fields. Currently his work focuses on the development of a new social theory on globalization and on research on education and how to improve children's knowledge.
In an interview series he showed his interest in getting involved in politics and he talked about his hobbies such as playing music different instruments like guitar, bass and organ and he talked about writing a book of poetry.
